About
Andrew Norman Wilson (1983) is an MFA candidate at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His work has been shown at the De Young Museum, the Dumbo Art Under the Bridge Festival, the University of Texas San Antonio New Media Symposium, Artists’ Television Access, and more. He has recently worked with media theorist Lev Manovich, filmmakers Sam Green, Craig Baldwin, and Micha Peled, as well as with the labor union Unite Here! and on the video production team at Google Headquarters. He is interested in aesthetics not as the interpretation of an object of beauty but rather an investigation of the very conditions of contemporary life.
